Malvern Primary were once again victorious in the Swim Carnival last Friday. Congratulations to all studentswimming 2s involved in both the team and trial process and again I would like to highlight the fact it is the depth of talent at this school that supports our sporting success! A special congratulations to the following students who finished 1st in their event and have progressed to the Kingston Division meet on Wednesday 16th of March: Grade 4:  Olivia S (Freestyle), Grade 5: Sam L (Freestyle and Backstroke), Maddie H (Backstroke), April L (Breaststroke) and Jas B (Butterfly), Grade 6: Claudia N (Breaststroke).  As well as this we have 4 relay teams who will also compete in the Kingston Division: Freestyle – 9/10 Girls (Olivia S, April L, Lulu B & Indi C), 11 Girls (Annabelle E, Amy L, Jas B & Willow SJ), 11 Boys (Sam L, Miles E, Harry P & Cayden F) and Open Girls Medley (Annabelle E, Claudia N, Jas B, Emma McD).

Good luck to these stuswimming 1dents in their next competition! Thank you to Mrs Bower for her assistance on the day as well as Mr Duke for his district duties. Also congratulations to Emma McD and Chase A on their appointment of Swim Captains, both spoke fantastically while accepting the shield.
