Prep Enrolments
The Department of Education has a state-wide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline.
The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Prep at a Victorian Government Primary School, including Malvern Primary School.

Enrolment Zone
Children living within the Malvern Primary School zone have a right of enrolment.
In order to assist the school in planning for the following year, Prep enrolments are requested as soon as possible or at the latest, by the end of Term 2.

Prep enrolment applications for 2025
Prospective parents and carers are to submit Prep enrolment applications for the 2025 school year from Term 2, 2024 as a directive from DET.
The enrolment form can be completed for any prospective enrolment from Prep – Year 6.
This form can be emailed to: malvern.ps@education.vic.gov.au
*Please include a copy of the Birth Certificate and Immunisation Certificate.
