Curriculum

Our course of study is guided by the Victorian Curriculum, which consists of two aspects:

1. Learning Areas: English, Mathematics, Humanities, Science, Languages, the Arts, Technologies, Health and Physical Education. These focus on a discipline-based approach to learning.

2. Capabilities: Personal and Social, Ethical, Intercultural, Critical and Creative Thinking. These can be taught both explicitly and through the learning areas.

All curriculum is designed to develop the knowledge and skills required by the students at their appropriate stage of schooling, and provides a continuum for teachers to guide students through as they develop. The curriculum is therefore differentiated to cater for the needs of each individual student (particularly in English and Mathematics).
